Song of the Day: Hall dej till Hoger, Svensson!

The song translates from the original Swedish to “Let’s All Drive on the Right, Svensson” It’s a song that was written when Sweden decided in 1963 to drive on the right side of the road instead of the left. An interesting factoid about driving on the left: In Japan, cars travel on the left side because samurai were most often right handed and would grab the blade with their right hand, making it easier to react if they were on the left side of the road. Another source says that Japan became lefty because of pressure from the Queen of England. But the samurai story is much more interesting so I’m going with that one.
