Here’s a funny news blooper of a Romanian broadcaster trying to report a story on sandstorms. The only problem is that, at the time to shoot, the wind was no longer blowing. As a result, the reporter had a production assistant kick up some dust for the broadcast, only to have conspirator appear when the camera pans over too far.
Of course we’ll laugh at these silly Romanians and their poor production, as if we’re the epitome of proper broadcasting quality. But look at the way we’re fed half-baked, advertising fueled infotainment through the dishonest hands of Fox and CNN. I’ll take a dust kicking production assistant any day over a glossy, teeth-capped liar.
